Do you like music? Do you like dancing? If you responded to either of those questions then you are going to absolutely love TEAM JUICE! DJs! Initially united for a PCC-Sylvania gender studies symposium, Claire Evans and Luther Steven Schroeder formed their party company as a way to consolidate already thriving personal businesses. Evans had been performing around the lower Estacada region as DJ Claire Danes, while Luther had been up to his ear--that's right, singular; a romantic, if ill-planned, Van Gogh-ian stunt had resulted in the subsequent employment of a Hearmoore prosthetic ear (patent pending, Jerard Hearmoore Industries)--in requests for appearances by DJs Hot Air Balloon, Totally Cutie and Dominique Wilkins, all alter-egos the IRS-afflicted Schroeder had concocted to skirt ever-mounting tax obligations after his "Cheel's Meals" line of microwaveable breads, salads and condiments had gone belly up in 1993.Once teamed, the two were quite literally unstoppable, their rave parties usually ending with an anguished, exhausted promoter crudely hacking through power cords. But the people wanted more--so much more--and demand for TJDJs only grew, along with their reputation, their price tag, and their consumption of pre-gig "silly pills." Whatever those vials contained is still being determined in cooperation with Multnomah county DEA affiliates, but there's no denying the power these two wield over a crowded dance floor. Eschewing technical prowess for passion and a visibly electric physical chemistry that distracts as often as it inspires, Evans and Schroeder don't only light the torch, they carry that son of a bitch to the finish line and fan the flames. So let me ask you again, do you like having fun (that's what I asked before, right?)? Because if you're still reading, you're ready to JAM. And nothing goes better with jam than a slice of toast. So why not wash that baby down with a an ice cold bucket of juice. JUICE TEAM DJS!!!
