We ´ve all struggled with it: the annoying song that focus us to to scan pop radio stations, sing out loud and torture others around us, and wish we ´d never bothered listening in the first place.
Why is it that our heads are haunted by the likes of annoying commercial jingles, TV theme songs, and the Macarena?
They ´re called earworms, from the German Ohrwurm. James Kellaris, a psychologist who has studied the phenomenon, likes to describe it as a "cognitive itch" created by a catchy tune, and the only way to scratch it is to repeat it over and over in your minds.

Seit gut 13 Jahren mache ich nun intensiv, ernsthaft und sehr leidenschaftlich Musik. Anfänglich waren es Gitarren- Pop, Rock und Akustiksongs.
1995 habe ich mit einem guten Freund (Ray Caspar) angefangen zu komponieren und habe endlich mein erstes ,,musikalisches Gegenüber" gefunden, was mir dann den Startkick gegeben hat, den ich immer gebraucht habe.
Diese erste ernsthaftere Zusammenarbeit war sehr amüsant, wir hatten 2 Keyboards, einen alten Atari und das Sequenzerprogramm Notator, viel Kreativität und keinen Plan! ;-)
Aber es hat für den Anfang ganz gut funktioniert!

Mit Mikle Maaß, einem Gitarristen und Komponisten, hat sich etwas später ebenfalls eine intensive musikalische Zusammenarbeit ergeben, die bis heute besteht.

Mikle Maaß ist auch in meinem neuen Projekt ,,Solarmounts" mit von der Partie, ebenso wie Hanz S. und Ms. Smith, Musiker aus Lüneburg und Umgebung. Besuche Solarmounts on Virb!

Solo komponiere und produziere ich seit ca. Anfang 2000, mit der elektronischen Musik habe ich im Dezember 2006 begonnen.
Ambient, Lounge/ Chillout und Minimal sind momentan die Genres, in denen ich mich stilmäßig bewege, zumindest was elektronische Musik angeht.

Einige Tracks sind immer mal wieder in verschiedenen Webradios zu hören gewesen.

Ganz besonders freue ich mich, dass mein erstes Ambient- Album ,,Sun and Moon" auf Blue Pie in Sydney veröffentlicht wird und im Januar/Februar 2009 in allen möglichen Download-Shops im Internet (beatport, iTunes, amazon.com, mp3.com etc.) erhältlich ist!

Auch das erste Album der Solarmounts ,,Stereochromatic" konnte bei Blue Pie unterschlüpfen und ist ebenfalls in 2-3 Monaten in den Download-Shops zu haben!

For well 13 years I'm making music intensive and passionate, mostly it were guitar pop, rock- and acoustic songs.

At 1995 I started composing with a good friend (Ray Caspar). That was funny, we had 2 key boards (Korg M1 and Roland W30), an old Atari and the sequencer program Notator, very much creativity and no plan! ; -) But it worked for the beginning completely well!

With Mikle Maaß, a great guitarist and composer, I started somewhat later an intensive musical co-operation, which exists until today.

Mikle Maaß is also in my new project ,,Solarmounts", just like Hanz S. and Ms. Smith, musicians from Lueneburg and nearby. It's Chill out and Ambient music, with spacey guitars and vocals.

My own music as a solo artist I started to produce in the year 2000, in December 2006 I started to compose electronic music (Ambient, Lounge/ Chill out, Minimal).

Some tracks had to be heard always times again in different web radios.

I am madly happy that my first Ambient album ,,Sun and Moon" is published on Blue Pie in Sydney and within the next 2- 3 months it will be available in the most well sorted download stores in the Internet (beatport, iTunes, amazon.com, mp3.com, etc.)!

As well the first album of the Solarmounts ,,Stereochromatic" could under-slip with Blue Pie and in January/ February it will be also available in the download stores!

So dann wil ich mal hallo sagen und mal was auf Deutsch schreiben^^.Hab einiges gehört und bin immer wieder begeistert von deiner Musik.Und jule ich bin nun auch hier^^.gvlg-Matze
