I am Julian, a freelance web designer and flash developer and I'm looking for interesting people to work with and exciting new projects to get my teeth into.
I judge myself to lie somewhere between artist, designer and developer and I am at my happiest both when I'm creating something beautiful, and when I'm overcoming some new challenge. I aim to create things that engage and captivate the imagination and curiosity for more.
My hobbies include learning new skills, playing my congas, and getting lost on foot, on bike, or occasionally in the car, in the countryside at weekends.

I am continuously learning and fine tuning my skills and I finding new challanges to overcome.
Skills I currently possess include hand coding W3C compliant XHTML & CSS, Graphic Design & Image manipulation with Adobe Photoshop, and all things flash. That is to say, Flash Website Design & Development, Flash CS3 & Flash 8, Actionscript 3.0 & 2.0, Search Engine Optimisation & Progressive Enhancement of flash based websites, Flash integration of both Javascript & XML.
I am very good at troubleshooting & problem solving, and in a past life I had an MCSE/MCP + Internet and other such acronyms. I have 3 years professional Web Design & Development experience and 5 years working in a Senior IT Support role which has given me the condifence and ability to know I am able to acheive anything* I put my mind to.
