It wasn't until Junebug left her small town of Los Gatos, California and moved away for art school on the East Coast (RISD) that she found her true musical voice, leaving a too-large piano at home and picking up the guitar. Inspired by everyday life, art, and not so ordinary circumstances, Junebug has begun to take on a new path for herself.
Junebug's music resonates with the grit and grime of early country music and yet holds a current indie tone. It is reflective, direct, and honest. Inspired by love gained and love lost, her lyrics will break your heart and her swaying harmonies, gentle voice and melodies will mend it back together.
