IF I DON'T OWN A CAR CAN I STILL JOIN?
Absolutely. We have members who ride bikes or who have no car at all. The main message here is to live with less so we can give more.

WHAT IF MY CAR ISN"T TRASHED OR A JUNKER? CAN I STILL JOIN?
Yesiree you can. We have JCC members who drive cars that look nice or in good shape. Have you seen Mike's 93 Camry? It's sweet looking.

DO YOU GUYS HATE RICH PEOPLE?
Nope. Do you? We sure hope not. Around here we really love people who are loaded as long as they are being generous and keeping the needs of others a priority. This club is about ALL of us, no matter how much we make, learning to be more generous and rebelling against wasting all our money on ourselves.

DO YOU HAVE ANY SWEET STICKERS OR JCC PARAPHERNALIA?

CAN I START A LOCAL CHAPTER OF THE JCC IN MY CITY OR TOWN?
Go for it! We can help you and get the things that you will need to do this too. We just ask that you keep us up to date on your local membership numbers and you are an advocate of the clubs values. Don't go all weird on us and start doing things that would

DOES MY CAR HAVE TO BE PAID FOR TO BE IN THE CLUB?
It's a good idea we think but not a mandate. You can be at a basic membership level. But nothing more until you either sell it or pay it off. And to be real honest, if you're driving a Lexus with a $800 car payment then the Junky Car Club might not be a good fit for you.

CAN I SEND A PICTURE FOR THE JCC PHOTO GALLERY?
Please do. We love getting pictures of members and their cars. We love seeing your cars but we love even more seeing you and your car. Don't be shy. And it doesn't have to be fancy or perfect. The junkier the picture the better we think.

IS THERE ANYBODY MAKING BANK OFF THIS FABULOUS IDEA?
Well since you asked, the answer simple answer is NO FREAKIN WAY. We're just not that smart or wired up that way. We are just passionate about the ideas and everything the JCC stands for. Also, for those who really care about that stuff we are a non profit organization and have strict oversight from a board of directors and this really big agency called the IRS. We run things on the cheap around here too. Lots of volunteers and people who believe in the cause help us get the word out and give their time quite generously. Want to help out? WHAT ELSE DO YOU GUYS DO?
Of course we spend a lot of time advocating the ideas of living with less and learning to be more generous to others. We set up Junky Car Club booths at events and get people pumped about living within our means. We partner with Compassion International and help gets kids sponsored. We also do junky car club car rallies to help bring awareness to social justice issues and raise some dough for cool organizations who are helping those in need.

WHAT'S YOUR LINK WITH COMPASSION INTERNATIONAL?
We love Compassion International and do whatever we can to support their mission. It's important to know this car club isn't just for our own jollies or chuckles. We want our members to give to great organizations who are serving those in need. IS THIS SOME RELIGIOUS DO-GOODER THING?
Please don't make us punch you and then kick you in the nuts. Around here, we don't think the issues of generosity and helping those in poverty is a Christian, Muslim, or Jewish thing. Or if you're in some whacko cult, we don't think it's a whacko cult thing either. It's a humanity thing. These are human issues. This is about human beings becoming better human beings by living with less. No matter what your religious, political, or social views might be, you are welcome here if you care about the things we care about at the Junky Car Club.
