Justin has been DJing since 2001 & producing tracks since 2002. He is one half of Sketchy Beats with Dlay, a DJ and production partnership that it now entering into its fifth year. Justin's interest in electronic music was sparked in 1993 after hearing Aphex Twin's music for the first time, and subsequently discovering Warp and its wealth of electronica artists.::::

He started playing techno in 2001 and co-promoted a night called Futec, which ran in Basingstoke, Hampshire in the first half of 2003 before switching to house music and forming Sketchy Beats later that year. Typically his DJ sets comprise jackin', bumpy tracks, but having been heavily influenced by releases on labels such as DiY & Mantis and a newfound interest in disco, his sound has become significantly deeper, particularly in his solo DJ sets. Alongside Dlay, he has played at many parties and nights around the UK & also France, but most notably at Jane Fitz's Peg parties where they have appeared regularly in the last couple of years.::::

Justin set up a small home studio in 2002 & his initial productions were downbeat, experimental tracks. For several years, his main focus has been on been producing house music with Dlay, but the formation of Soapsud City has allowed him to return to his electronica roots as reflected in his tracks "Robots in the Borough of Ealing" & "Vague Flex" on the first Soapsud City release Sudscapes, although his subsequent EP's for Soapsud will be more dancefloor orientated.::::
