At the age of seven Justin Carrier answered the challenge of a fellow second grader's taunt that he could not draw the same glorious shark head that he could. Offense was taken, ego was flared, and an artist was born. Seven year old Justin is now an adult with twenty five years of self and academic training in the visual arts and the same passion that roused his younger self to answer a childhood rival's sneer. His paintings are often a collision of fiery color and spiritual whispers that leave the viewer in state of maternal vertigo. Images that that seem to tell stories but do so in the way dreams tell stories with multilayered meanings and interpretations are not only his norm but more his trademark. Justin Carrier is essentially a wiry, mischievous boy who likes to punch the unsuspected in the eye with something beautiful, and still have some juice left to design you a logo.
