I heard awhile back that The Artist Formally Known As Prince was so excited about having his kid that he made a loop of the kid's heart beat into a backing percussion track on one of his songs. Now keep in mind I am a musical lover. I have a wide taste but I am very opinionated when it comes to music. And yes, you guessed it, I will sometimes voice my opinions about said musical taste. So, I thought Prince's idea was stupid and he was trying too hard. That was before! Let me first say that Prince doesn't have try - he just is. Soul, rock, R & B, he's got it. But back to the story, Rachel went to the doctor yesterday and she recorded the baby's heartbeat and then emailed it to me. Holy mess, amazing! My baby has a kickin heart beat. And Prince, if you ever got word that I was making fun of you, I was, but now I am sorry and you definately had the right to make a huge deal about it. Sorry dude.
