Tonight was one of the best nights ever in "football town". I am a strong supporter of the Missouri Tigers, and tonight was a big win, if not the biggest win in Tiger history. I sat on the couch with my dad-in-law, watching the game (with momentary outbursts of excitement) as the #4 ranked Tigers beat the #2 ranked Kansas Jayhawks. For those that didn't grow up in the Midwest, let me explain... the MU / KU game is like the Georgia / Georgia Tech rival, the Florida / Florida State rival, or the Clemson / South Carolina rival... it is BIG! Next week Missouri will play Oklahoma and if we beat OK then we play in the National Championship! Did I mention Oklahoma was the only team all year to beat Missouri. So next week is HUGE. On Saturday I will be sitting in my living room, with my phone turned off, wearing my Missouri hoody sweatshirt and screaming my head off for the Tigers to beat down the Okies. Please be praying (ha).
