The trail of Tears...

Many of you probably don't know this, but my roots are both Native American (the first Americans) and English. My dad's side were here first and my mom's side came in and killed them all... at least a lot of them... I mean, "Us". It started out great with Thanksgiving and all, but after that it went down hill. Anyway, I was thinking about family today and about the heritage you leave behind, this thinking led me to think through what it must've been like for the early Indians, their life journey and eventually the Trail of Tears. This got me thinking about my journey and the "trail" that God has me on. And then the word "trail" lead me to start thinking about my school boy days and that brought me to - Oregon Trail. Do you remember that game? It was awesome, seriously, that was like the coolest game of all time. A big statement I know, but I believe if you think back, you will find what I say to be true. That game and recess got me through the 3rd grade, and this girl in my home room named Holly, I had a massive crush her. Then I was thanking God that Holly and I didn't fall in love in the 3rd grade and eventually get married, but instead I met Rachel and married her; now with Jayce on the way. So, then I got back to thinking about God and this journey called life and it made me thankful for every "up" and "down". Looking forward,
Justin
