So, a week or so ago I shared a little bit about Nabal & Abigail... (1 Samuel 25) This story definitely hit me where it hurts. I have really learned some valuable things from Abigail. I mean, her situation was rough... her man was an idiot & he almost got her killed. But instead of responding wrong with wrong, she stepped up. Here is what I noticed about her:

#1 She Recognized - What is it in your life that you need to recognize?

#2 She Responded - How can I respond in a Christ-like way to situations and people?

#3 She Resisted (the status quo) - Stick with your decision.

#4 She was Rewarded - God blessed her for doing the right thing.
