The designer collaborations with lower-end retailers continue unabated.  One of the most recent is Christian Lacroix's collection for French catalogue/online retailer La Redoute.  Most of the collection is unremarkable, but the trenchcoat, which is available in both red and black, is pretty nice.  I'm not so sure I'd be willing to spend $300 on a La Redoute coat, but it does look very cute, in all its ruffly goodness, on model Lily Cole.
