Quickie Bio:

Kaitlyn ni Donovan has garnered the respect of musicians and listeners, both in Portland and elsewhere, for her striking, elegant compositions and noir-ish lyrics. She composes and performs live with numerous instruments. Her bell clear, melismatic vocal style is often compared to Elizabeth Fraser of Cocteau Twins or the airy Julee Cruise.
In the early 1990's into 1999 her performances frequently consisted of full string ensembles, wulitzer and toy pianos, accordion and other embelishments.
Currently she performs selectively, backed by a small ensemble under her name and works as a soundtrack composer at Last of the Explorers studio.
