I haven't been home for three weeks. It's been nice spending time with friends down south. Somehow, it seems like there's less time in the day when you're away from home. I'm not on tour, or playing shows. I'm just visiting some friends for a bit.

I'm really starting to get excited about where all this is headed! I've been meeting with the right people, learning the right things... and writing new music! Some of it I like, some of it not so much. It can sit on the shelf for a while and chill out.

Well, since art sometimes reflects off the viewer/listener. the song reminds me of a time long before my recovery from alcoholism - my love of the booze and the creative-frame-of mind I thought it put me in. Hard to explain unless you have been there. Still thinking about the missing refrain. Rob
