The inspiring story follows a Techno DJ, named Ikarus (played by real-life producer and DJ Paul Kalkbrenner) through an emotional roller coaster as his overwhelming tour schedule starts to take a toll on him....

Unable to lighten up on his drug use, his life takes a rapid nosedive when after playing a show, he takes a pill containing a deadly toxin which catapults him into a state of psychosis. The film cleverly uses interesting characters, bits of humor and a plethora of great music that kept us thoroughly captivated till the end.

After the showing, we were introduced to both the director of the film, Hannes Stohr and the lead actor. I had expected a little more information on the actual filming of the movie which would have been really interesting, but much to my dismay there was little said aside from where the after party was going to be held. Like Hannes said, "This is when life imitates art".
