Tracklist:

02 :: Le petit train normand (full track on a videoclip - youtube)
03 :: Taches de rousseur

05 :: Cotillons et enfantillages
06 :: Dernière valse
07 :: Au revoir

Some words from Apegenine about it:
I've Sketched It A While Ago is French musician Guillaume Richard's first commercial release, and we're proud at Apegenine to debute another great talent. It would be easy to dub this release ' IDM', but just as Kaneel's been showing in the netlabel scene for years now, his music is much more than drills and bass. Under the overlaying fuss of glitches and hectic beatwork, Kaneel's subtle music sinks into nostalgia and tenderness with his explorations into pop melodies. 'Naïve' is a term often used to describe Guillaume's tracks; unstable and ecclectic yet dreamy and welcoming, the result is a sometimes chaotic feud of cuteness and destruction and other times, anthems to blowing bubbles and inspecting clouds.

Anyway, you can head there to know more about it!

The Super Biography (pinkness included)

//Short and not really plausible biography:
(very subtle and interesting to read, tons of little details inside)

Guillaume Richard, as known as kaneel, is born the 9th of August 1982 near a nice city named Rouen, in France.
In fact, he's born the Saint Love day (very important to mention about that fact isn't it?)

During the summer of 1999, he finally got a hand on a dos soundtracker, which he used for the fun of it, to kill his time mostly...
Unfortunatly for his studies, he really liked composing and he hasn't been able to stop doing so.

He released on some netlabels back then and finally, when Apegenine Recording was set up, he was asked for a single tune meant to be released on their first compilation, so he gave to Apegnine one of his unreleased tracks named "Anise Taste".
Then he chose to have its album to get released on this very label and well, now he's waiting for it to finally get released.

//Just an attempt to describe his music:
This is the kind of thing very hard to say actually, some would like to get names of already known people, some would prefer a conceptual definition of the sound, some would want genres dropping... I guess the music of kaneel is just automatic&electronic melodic music, with naive touches, effervescent glitchy beats... music for your kindergarten indeed.
Some might call it electronica while some others will simply call it electronic and mostly melodic music.
Have a nice listenning, enjoy and take care.

You should! I'm currently downloading all the songs you have up here so I can have stuff to listen to while studying. However, if your profile is pimped out anymore, it could be dangerous to those who view it. haha.
