If anyone knows me..at all...they know I'm quite the fan of pretty things. Pretty clothes especially. It hasn't always been the case with me, something just snapped in me some time ago and ever since I've been fascinated.

What are "pretty clothes?" It all depends on the wear-er in my opinion. Pretty doesn't mean that it has to be frilly and pink or a tux with tails (although, God knows all of those things can be quite breathtaking in the right situation). In my mind, fashion has absolutely no regard for age, race, location, season (*gasp*), or year. It is what it is to whoever the person is. Yep. Check out any line at any fashion week and although you'll see similarities in colors, cuts and materials, each designer is doing something different just because it's who they are.

Same goes for us normal people who end up purchasing that Kors inspired Lace dress or that 80s inspired member's only-esque jacket and rock them even though we'll probably get comments from our friends like, "I could never pull that off, but you go for it."

Know what I wish? That more people would go for it.

Life's too short to not have a little fun with the clothes you wear.

Keep checking back if you need some go-for-it inspiration. I'm by no means the bottom line in what's in and what's out (let's face it, it all comes back around anyways), but I do love learning about the industry they call fashion...and helping people feel good about what they're wearing...and I work in a church...*gasp*...and I realize that when it all comes down to it the only thing that can make anything truly beautiful is a man called Jesus.
