California definitely has the most unpredictable weather ever. Yesterday was cwazy windy, today is pretty sunny, and last Sunday it poured down rain for about 27 minutes (yes, 27 minutes. Not 26 or 28---27 hehe). I usually love rain if I am just curled up on the couch with a good book, but I had just got my car washed when the sky decided it wanted to cry. Sadly, I must get my car washed again soon. Oh well---I guess it just gives me an excuse to go through the drive through car wash---I find it very entertaining especially if I'm sipping a nice frappuchino while going through it. I don't know about you, but I always have the urge to open a window when I'm in there. Yes, the inside of my car would get soaking wet---but how fun would that be. ;)
I guess that brings me to the special something in my life these days. Yes, you guessed it. STARBUCKS. I'm totally head over heels in love with my venti caramel frap (with no whip by caramel on top) and piece of lemon loaf. My starbucks addiction has cost me well over $100 bucks this month. If anything, I blame my Starbucks on my busy schedule lately. If it makes it any better--Starbucks is usually what I have as my breakfast and lunch. Okay Okay. I know I need to stop and I will. Soon. Really! I promise.
Work has kept me quite busy this week. It doesn't help that I woke up on Monday morning with about 7 spider bites. I was so itchy that I wanted to scream. I had to cancel my Monday appointments because I didn't think excessively scratching my upper thigh (which was abnormally swollen) in public would have been very lady-like. They are much better now. I keep them coated in strong itchy cream. I only hope when I return to the OC tonight that there are no more spiders waiting to come and take a bite out of me.
I would give you a work update--but I'm very lazy to type as of now. I'm working on some exciting projects though and I promise I will update you soon. I hope my work continues down this path--they just raised my rent and I'm going to need the extra money. I'm really blessed not to have to go out and look for work---nowadays it seems like people are the one calling me. I'm extremely grateful.
I not nearly close to my goal as far as "salary", but I'm getting there.
This post is very random. Sorry. I'm thinking about taking a quick nap on the couch (I'm uberlly full). After my last appt. at 12, I went to lunch with my Dad and Mom. We had Yoshinoya. After that, we took a trip to Home Depot---I love going there. Walking up and down the aisles just makes me wish I had my own garden or house to build stuff for. I can't wait until I can plant things in the ground or pick out kitchen cabinets. It was funny to watch my parents argue with each other over a tangerine tree. My dad told my mom they didn't need anymore fruit trees, but my Mom finally convinced my Dad there was one more bare spot in the backyard that needed a tree. Mom chose a tangerine tree so my Dad picks it up and puts it in the cart. Then of course, my Mom finds something wrong with it--and my Dad has to put back the tree and get the new one my Mom picked out. I kept laughing and I found it cute because I knew my parents were just messing with each other. I know I'm totally anti-marriage and anti-love, but sometimes I can't help but wish I had someone to do that type of stuff with.
Oh well---when the time is right, it will happen. For now, I'm totally happy and content with just me. However, I would be more content with a small dog if anyone wants to get me one for my bday next month. Okay, I received 9 emails while writing this, so I must get going.
P.S. I have dual monitors. haha.
