I have terrible short term memory. I space out often, usually because I either don't know what to say to you or I don't want to listen to you. It takes me a long time to pick out a card at Hallmark because I end up reading all of the funny ones. I enjoy a good laugh and cup of jasmine tea, peppermint hot cocoa, or a strong cup of caramel macchiatto from bonjour montclair. I have yet to try a Vietnamese sandwich and explore Brooklyn. I like helping people in little ways by taking that extra step or lending that extra hand and surprising them with politeness...I like doing these things for random people to show them that maybe this world isn't so cruel and heartless. I hate taking life too seriously, and I know I do that way too much. I have a love/hate relationship with coffee. My favorite foods are desserts and sandwiches because of their surprising quality of elegant simplicity, and their range of creativity. I love hearing people talk about something they love, or just watching people do something they love. I buy CDs because real and honest musicians are more than worth the 10 or 15 bucks and put a lot of their hearts and hard work into something they love, and as long as they stay honest and real and aren't in it to just sell themselves, I will support them because I want them to keep doing what they do. I also prefer supporting local businesses, rather than scum-sucking corporate establishments. I'm a listener, observer, and dreamer, but I constantly wish I could be less passive. I believe the moment we step into war, we've already lost and that our nation is in great need for a revolution. I LOVE trees. I'm easily intimidated, but never afraid to stick up for a friend and show loyalty if the moment calls for it. I don't know how to show people I love them, so just know that I do. I also wish I had a real afro.
