This weekend we have had heaven-like weather here in DFW. Not too hot, not too cold, and no wind. Bee-yoo-ti-ful. Weather has a way of making me want to do something outdoors. So I decided to go where all the hip people go: Walmart.

Being there for no particular reason, I wandered over into the home & garden section. I started looking at flowers along with the moms & grandmas. Then I found a coconut-lined railing planter. It would be perfect to hook on my balcony and plant something in. So I carried it around for a while I looked at more flowers. You know, some flowers look like weeds before they look like flowers.

Anyway, I started looking closer at the coconut-lined railing planter. I then realized that I had no idea how it worked. It came with two mysterious screws and a plastic bullet thing. In fear of not being able to properly hang it, I didn't buy it. Or any flowers. Instead, I walked around my apartment complex in awe of my neighbors who where able to get their railing planters hung just fine.
