My name is Keith Brown.
I work at a church and with that, I work with the youth.
I love what I do and where I'm headed.
My life has alot of roads to travel and I can't wait to see where they lead me.
I currently reside in Salina Kansas and it's not so bad, not as bad as people make it out to be. I plan on moving in a couple months and it's a bit nerve racking, but I know God is with me and will protect me physically and mentally.

This Is Peace May 18
"To find peace can be a difficult thing. To be at peace with yourself, I think, is harder."
The more I try to find peace I find that this quote to be true, but also false in the sense that I think they are one. I have started to ride my bike alot more and have learned that in the few miles I ride a day, is that peace really does come from inside, all kinds of peace. Peace with your-self, peace with others, peace with your surroundings....

Well I was in manhatten till sunday because my rides vehicle broke down friday on his way back from Iowa city. Now i'm home babysitting zane and trying to find a job so I can have some money.

looks like the dreamcenter is still going strong! i have had experience with the place, as i was in the master's commission program (not through there, but through the church of god) unfortunately, the master's commission program in the church of god loathes gay christians and operates as a reparative therapy center rather than a discipleship program! i did learn alot about myself during the program, and i will also be going into urban ministry and have almost completed my counseling licensure. i'm glad to see you are looking into a future in ministry! peace

i am looking at three schools in the bay area, one of which has a year residency program in LA. either way, i would do my counseling licensure hours in LA, as there are more opportunities for hospital chaplaincy and counseling there (i would just go ahead and apply to fuller, but they still kick people out for being gay, and i am not about to get into that whole mess again!) 5/8 huh? nice work. i think i'm going to settle on 00, even if it looks puny in the bay area! as you can tell, i don't mind drawing attention to the things that make me different from others, so as to allow them to get over the difference so we can focus on our similarities. piercings always get a weird reaction around here. but i will be moving on to greener and more affirming pastures soon.... what are you planning on doing in LA? peace
