A four day timelapse of a ripening tomato. It gets a little dry towards the end. This is why the plant begins to sag under the weight. If you plan something like this make sure the plant can get an even amount of water during your capture.

Bee Dance

Yesterday, this bee landed on the side of my house. I walked out the door and it was directly at my eye level. I noticed that it was doing this dance with it's legs so I started to watch it for about a minute, then I ran inside to grab a camera. It was truly amazing and I wish I could have better captured the event. The true orientation of this video should be rotated 90 degrees counter-clockwise.

16mm of Route 66

A short 16mm film that was transfered to digital video by re-shooting all the source film off a projection screen. It was then brought into Final Cut where I edited together. Afterwards, I created the background audio track with Soundtrack since it was a originally a silent film.

A short video put together using photos and a small animation created with Motion. The audio was put together using Soundtrack. It's a bit weak but was one of my first experiences using it. Maybe someone can connect with me to put in a new audio composition.

This is a short outtake where the sunset clouded over during a photo session. This is the northwest face of the Bender's studio in Placitas, New Mexico. The Sandia Mountains can be seen in the background. Since the lighting conditions became unfavorable, I took the opportunity to do a little experimentation. If you look hard near the end you'll see Greg Sandoval (the architect) and myself moving through the right side of the frame while we shot photographs.

Organic Rhythm (A Fulldome Expirement)

This is a Fulldome" target="_blank">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fulldome">Fulldome experiment done as a student were I combined animation, timelapse, and still photography. The original video is in a 4K (4,000 x 4,000px) dome master sequence that is warped to match the hemispherical shape of a 30ft. diameter dome. This is obviously a micro version of it so you won't be able to make out the little details like swarming bees on the blooming apple tree.

A short timelapse of the northeast side of the Bender's Studio in Placitas, New Mexico. The studio was designed by Greg Sandoval and we spent several afternoons trying to get photos for a design competition. I took this short timelapse sequence during one of those trips.
