So I'm about to post some photos, right? I mean, that's one of the things I started this VIRB page for was to share my art and whatnot, so I was about to share some art. And I see this checkbox next to this italisized fine print that read thusly:
I certify that I have the right to distribute all images/videos/audio that I upload and that they are not nudity, gore or depicting hate.
Well, they are my photos that I took, so I guess I have the right to distribute them. They're not nudity, gore, or depicting hate, so they're cool.
Wait a minute. You mean I can't put up any nudity?
Sure I don't have any, but I can dream, right? Oh well, I guess if I ever do take any it won't go up on VIRB. I shall continue to take pictures and hopefully improve, and hopefully meet people through this service. I need to meet more people. I'm really shy, and I'm trying to work on that.
Got an ice cream maker, so that's on thing off the list of stuff I want that I really don't need. Now I need some really good recipes for it. And you know, all that other stuff that I do need. Like the rent payment, the light bill payment, the phone bill payment, and my cell phone bill payment. Maybe. Don't know if I'll keep it or just turn it off and pay em the disconnect fee and overdue charges. The only reason that I got the account was that they waved the fee with a two year activation (funny story that. Went in to Best Buy to get a coaxial digital audio cable for my DVR, came out with a digital coaxial audio cable for my DVR, a Corinne Bailey Rae CD, and a camera phone. And I was late for work.) One of the main selling points was that I could get a credit on a new phone after a year. But now they tell me that I need to sign up for another two year contract to get that credit (I may be SOL anyway because I think I had to keep my account in good standing as well.) So I may just go back to my old prepay phone. I got better reception on it anyway. The other reason I upgraded was to get IM capability on my phone, but I rarely can catch anyone I want chat with on IM anymore, so...
