Laurent Menot is a french songwriter. He recorded and self-produced his first solo album, "Kid in ocean With the helping hands".

The Kid in ocean project started in 2002, recorded in 2003/2004 by Julian Kirkman, with the helping hands, the musicians of the recording sessions. He plays acoustic guitar (6 & 12 strings), electric guitar, bass guitar, keyboards, harmonica, and voices. 10 songs about cycle of life, from childhood to adult life, with naive lyrics and innocent music.
