Hello. My name is Brittany Forks, and I have a store Kilobyte Couture. I began Kilobyte Couture in May 2006 after finding a box of resistors, and thinking “There has got to be something really cool I can do with these.” After thinking it over for a while I decided jewelry would be the ideal product. I made a few earrings, and put them on Etsy.com and people really enjoyed the pieces I made. My friends also took a liking to them, and put in several orders for themselves and as gifts. In late 2006 I decided to to make the jump to my own online store and blog.
I really enjoy all things nerdy, geeky, and a little off center. I focus all this super geek power into the jewelry I make. I try to stay current with the trends to make my jewelry relevant for the fashion focused nerd. I also try to make simple and elegant pieces, because not everybody is a fashionista. I am constantly thinking of new products and pieces, and different variations of the pieces I already sell. I am extremely open to custom/special orders, and more than happy to chat about any idea.
