[WHO AM I?] Hello, my name is Phil Haughton (as I have been known for 23 years, since something rumbled in my mothers abdomen and I fell out) or 'ko1obos' (as I have been known for around 6 years since Quake 3 graced my computer with its presence). For some unknown reason I currently live in Middlesbrough, England.
[WHAT DO I DO?] I would say I'm a dabbler. I dabble. I don't have a career and I've never really had a dedicated direction in my life. I suppose I'm a nomad of the education system. I draw, I photograph whatever I fancy, I experiment and design with CSS and HTML, I write and I study Science in everyway I can. I have no training in web design or graphic design, I teach myself CSS, XHTML etc in my spare time. I am working towards a degree (not in an art-related subject. In fact, its Science) and apart from that my spare time is taken up with the above interests, as well as a few more (see below right). Maybe the fact that I don't have a specific direction is a bit depressing or maybe its perfect. I don't know, nor do I think its important. I enjoy what I do and that's enough.
[WHY AM I HERE?] I am here to develop myself and my skills. I want to be inspired and I want to inspire. I want to meet like minded people and people I wouldn't normally meet. I'm glad to be here amongst such talented and inpirational people. Now I just need to make the most of it.
Virb is the perfect place for me to be. I am very glad to be a part of it. I have been signing up for social sites for years now but I have been waiting for something like Virb to come along for some time. Now I am here, I want to enjoy myself. I want to broaden my horizons and I can't wait to pick the brains of the tons of inspirational people here. I love to make people happy, make them smile or to inspire them. If I have done any of these things for you then please don't hesitate to leave me a message, its always nice to know you have helped.
I am in the process of developing my own website to showcase my work and some friends work which includes photography, digital art, tutorials and downloads (CSS templates, website templates etc). I'll keep the development updated in my blog.
