Krzysztof Ostrowski was born in Szczecin, Poland in 1976. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz, and has become well known as the author of independent, surrealistic comics. His comic 'Pantofel Panny Hofmokl' ('Miss Hofmokl's Shoe'), based on the script by Dennis Wojda, has won the Grand Prix of Comic Art Festival in Lodz in 2001.
In 2001 he formed a rock n roll band called Cool Kids of Death, wchich soon begun to be identified with a revolt of a young frustrated, polish intellectuals, criticizing a poorly constructed social structure. In 2006 they played as a support for legendary Iggy Pop and the Stooges in London Astoria.
Right now his working as a graphic designer, ilustrator, author of music videos and short animations. His works were published and broadcasted on MTV, Viva, TV Kultura, magazines such as Playboy, Newsweek, Film, Machina, Elle, Gazeta Wyborcza
