I haven't been blogging or tweeting much so I thought I would give a quick update on why.

My MBP won't boot so I took it in to the Apple store and they sent it off for repair. In the meantime I've bought a macbook to work on, but I've been so exhausted by the time I get home, I don't even bring it in from the car.

Oh yeah, Miss web worker here is working in a real live office with real live coworkers. It's very different from my freelance do-whatchya-want-when-ya-want type of work.

I don't hate it... in fact it's kind of nice. Makes me appreciate the time spent with my family more when I don't see them as much.

The commute is a drag. It's about a hour & 15 minute drive, vs a hour train ride and a 5 minute walk. I've decided to take the train. I'm not used to getting up before 10am (yeah I know, freelancing for so many years has spoiled me so..) The 5am wakeup is kickin my butt! On the train I can relax and even take a little nap on the way in.

Other than that, I've been enjoying it. It's nice to not have to deal with clients so much directly. It leaves a lot of time to just dig into the code and get things done quickly.

Once I get settled into more of a routine I'll get back to blogging (or microblogging).
