About
Kristian Luc specializes in creating music that combines smooth grooves with infectious melodies in a harmonious mix of pop, rock, funk and ambient vibes. These qualities, along with his dynamic stage presence, have enabled him to perform with his former band, Luc Brothers, at numerous live venues, including the renowned Danish "Skanderborg Festival" four years in a row, where the latest roster included celebrated artists such as Lenny Kravitz, Beck, and Oasis. On his own, Kristian has performed regularly in numerous Copenhagen venues as well as featured multiple times on national Danish television.
Born into music-filled home, Kristian was immersed from an early age in the sounds of classic musicians of the past as well as entrenched in the creation of unique musical creations through collaboration with his brothers. The creative inspiration he received from his brother Nic Luc, a skilled musician who along with his 3 other brothers, provided him with the motivation and encouragement, that eventually drove him learn how to play the guitar and to capture the art of songwriting. To this day, his family is still a major influence on Kristian's music.
"Women Harmonize," was recently made into a music video by Emmy Award winning director Brad Winderbaum. But while this remarkably passionate musician is as busy as ever, Kristian Luc has no doubts about why he chose this path not frequently taken entertaining and inspiring people is what he is aspiring to do and believes that he can somehow will manage to spread some peace, love and understanding on the way there. His main goal is to make music he is proud of and he is thrilled take you along for the ride.
