Kristin Fouquet, a native of New Orleans, was born on the day Jimi Hendrix died. Having never mastered the electric guitar, she is a writer and fine art photographer. Her work has been published both in print and online. Fortunately for Kristin, she lives in a city rich with mystique, offering many intriguing subjects.

I have a photo essay up at the On the Wing section of Full of Crow. It's in Issuu. If you are unfamiliar with it, you just click on the cover and it should zoom to full screen, then read it like a book.

Happy October! All Saints' Evening is live at Danse Macabre This issue is bountiful and I'm flattered to have ten of my photographs (along with lovely Tarot Death Cards, Grimm plates, and other macabre) illustrate the lush literary offerings. Enjoy this one all month long.
writing, photography, raw oysters, books, hats, fez monkeys, flappers, philosophers, beauty, function, sidewalk chalk, storytellers, good editors, darkrooms, vintage clothing, condiments, bartenders, musicians, live music, pretending that I can dance, not pretending that I can sing, ferns in urns, claw foot bathtubs, artists, eccentrics, getting caught in a downpour, another glass of champagne, corny jokes, purple velvet, learning a new word, red wine, white wine, Irish whiskey, femme fatales, people who unabashedly wink, paper flowers, laughing at myself over and over...

Yeah, I love your page. I hope you don't mind but I borrowed your deep burgundy color for my page. Cheers Kris.

Hey, you have some great pictures! Nice work!

You are very welcome. Oh, that is good to hear. As far as I can tell my creator is doing well. Though, I think she has been having a lot of weird dreams as of late. At least that would explain a lot. As for myself, I have been just fine. Stagnate, but nothing a little disappointment and nog flavored eggs can't fix.

Oh, do tell Ignatius I say hello. It's been ages. I also wanted to say that I really like the few photos I have seen of yours. Particularly the streetcar! Very stark and beautiful. I'd love to see more if possible.
Take care.
