After 2 years of wanting to move to the Bay Area, heart of the Tech industry and one of the primary Internet development hubs of the world, this past week it finally happened.

I'll get straight to the point: this has been the most difficult, stressful trip to CA ever, in more ways than one, and I'm going to need to seriously recover from it.

As you can see from my profile page, I've finally gotten round to not just having a Virb account, but — gasp ye not, for 'tis true! — a custom Virb layout. I'll take this blog post as the opportunity to document my thoughts and experiences on the whole process of customizing my Virb.
If you don't want to read the full post, then here's the abridged version: the experience was mostly pleasant, though Virb's markup & CSS could do with some improvements. :-)
