News Update

First up:
Up for Grabs: Airwaves (and Cooler Cell Phones?)
Since we will be going to all digital TV shortly, that means all of the analog airwaves will be open for other uses. In the beginning of 2008 the FCC will be auctioning off these airwaves to the highest bidders. What does this mean for you? Better cell phone service and more easily accessible internet via your cell phone, among other perks.
Second:
Report: Apple working on auto-volume control for iPods
Apple is creating smart technology that looks at how loud you have been listening to something to a specific amount of time. And based on that information it will gradually turn it down, first to save power, but mostly to protect your ears from lose of hearing. Fun stuff.
Third:
Wikia Search Project to Launch Jan. 7, Wales says
I'm not too sure how I feel about this one but here it goes. Wikipedia will release a new search engine on Jan. 7th. The concept of it is really good, but one reason they are creating and releasing it is to compete with Google. I'm not sure if I like that very much.
Fourth:
Report: Apple to use Intel's Silverthorne chip in 2008
Here is another win for Intel. But from what it looks like, they might not go with this chip any how because it uses too much power. We will see how this turns out in 2008 with the new iPhones.
Fifth:
Social-networking sites for the anti-social
HAHAHHAHAH, enough said.
Lastly:
Bible put on a pinhead-size chipalt
So, before this bible was created, the smallest one was about a cubic inch and it included the whole Bible. This one, which does only include the old testament (I believe) is the size of a 1/2 of a grain of sugar (aka tiny). How do you feel about writing text with nano-particles. There will be a picture of this chip, blown up to 7 meters by 7 meters, and with a picture that size, you could read the entire Bible with the naked eye. Each letter will be 3mm in size. Haha, amazing.

As for a Christmas Eve sign off, Remember who created you and what He did for you. Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior, there will be none like Him. Think about talking to Him, He is waiting for you always.
