This document was made whilst backing up archive material for digital storage. All tracks have been restored with the minimum of fiddling, retaining the lo-fi, d.i.y. condition and spirit they were created in. Personnel vary from track to track, as they did from session to session and performance to performance.
C.N.S.. was a very loose association of musicians, most of whom had day jobs, and/or played in more well-known North London underground bands. they made a steady progression of recordings during the late 1980s and early 1990s either during low key gigs, parties, or informal gatherings. These recordings were made direct to stereo cassette, or on rare occasions on two track reel through a soundcraft live desk: the vast majority were recorded live with no mixdowns
