Yet, little comprehensive information is readily available, and what is found is often confusing, contradictory, and even shrouded in mystery and secrecy. This one day intensive seminar on oil painting materials offers the kind of in-depth knowledge necessary to explore and tame this medium. It will cover pigments, the five types of oil paint, mediums, additives, thinners, and varnishes. It will also offer solutions to working safely as well as produce artwork that will last for generations.
