This first Laguna Sunrise release may be considered more a collection of demos than an actual record, and while we understand it's not common practice for a band to put out such a large collection of demo recordings as their first release, We felt the content would be enjoyable nonetheless and decided to go ahead and put it all together in one package. These recordings are not perfect. None of these songs were rehearsed. The musical scores were taken from jam sessions with the members of the band and in most cases were laid down in one take, the first musical ideas being recorded, mixed, and printed here on this final release. These songs of the first album are only "the Beginning" the dawn, or birth, of Laguna Sunrise and the songs we wrote together as the band was actually forming. We hope you will enjoy this collection of "demos" and will look forward to hearing more from laguna Sunrise in the future. Our intent is to make music that stabs at human emotion. At times saddened and uneasy, at times hopeful and joyous- we all share these common emotions, and therefore, we are all a piece of this conception.We are currently working on new material and looking to play some local shows SOON!
