I guess I should update this thing, huh? It's funny that I like Virb 10x more than Myspace, but I seem to spend more time on Myspace than here. Anyway, a lot of new things have been going on in my life. My mom called me up the other day to inform me that my dad has cancer. The doctor's don't know what kind of cancer it is yet. Last night my mom was mentioning something about colon caner. She was half-awake when she was talking to me, so maybe she was delirious.

I've been mentioning that I want to lose about 6lbs before the end of summer. The only problem is that I haven't been putting in the effort to do so. Don't get me wrong, I still go to the gym everyday, but those damn burritos from Rubios have me in a vice grip. I just need to seperate myself from that kind of food for a while. At least it's cherry (love, love, love cherries!) season, so I'm going to incorporate even more fruits into my diet.

My brother is going back for his second tour to Iraq in August. He doesn't want to go back, because this will be the second time that he will miss his child's milestones. He was in Afghanistan when his first son was born. Now he will be in Iraq when my youngest nephew will begin to walk and talk. That sucks so much. Jalen (first nephew) is my little boo-boo bear. He has Cerebral Palsy and I think about him all the time. I just want him to be able to walk, talk, and eat by himself. I never considered myself a kid type of person, but Jalen has softened me up a bit.
