Your artists for the evening...
DIRTY PANDA (Señor Frio / [SiK])

Frio's solo style holds its roots in electro, yet incorporates the elements of downtempo, house, IDM and techno. He has honed his skills at engaging the listener with his own brand of techno-eroticism while gaining supreme knowledge in rocking the dance floor. Señor Frio's discography is building quickly including releases on Digital Distortions, Buried in Time, and Merck's top quality techno spinoff, Narita Records.
Local sound artist, Heath Fiddler aka [SiK] brings the duo his immaculately designed sound sculptures. [SiK]'s music has an unparalleled dark and disjointed feel which can be simultaneously overwhelming and irresistible. [SiK] has appeared on local experimental label, Buried in Time, and is soon to be featured in a collaboration on Glasgow's Soma Quality Recordings.
Dirty Panda's mixture of hyperfuturistic electro and dark ambient funk is something that must be experienced live and loud.
MONKEY + 1

With sixteen years behind him of making electronic music, Eric Prado is an old-schooler at heart. MonkeyPlus1 favors a straightforward and stripped down approach to craft savory electro funk. Originally gaining some notoriety in the late 90s, MonkeyPlus1 has produced original and remix work for Audio Dregs, Outward Music Company (now Kranky) and others, and played with Eternal Golden Void and Tro Shink. He embodies a bit of Portland's recent experimental history. MonkeyPlus1 resurfaces to share with us what helped to establish our town's open-minded and fun attitude towards electronic music.
CHRIS LEIGHTY (Magnum PA / PGE)
http://www.myspace.com/chrisleighty
Chris Leighty has been making electronic music in the studio since he got his first drum machine in 1991. Before producing electronic music, he played guitar, bass, drums, and keys in various post-punk/industrial bands around Chicago. He began performing live PA in 1995. When he moved to Portland in 2001, he adopted the Magnum PA moniker for his dancefloor-friendly material. Chris also makes up half of the electro duo, PGE (People Generate Energy / Portland General Electro. Under his given name, Chris Leighty explores the deeper, more abstract side of electronic music.
Let's Go Outside opens with a DJ set of original ambient and experimental music.
