An brief update before I continue further. I have new work, I won't say new job as that's not the case. I am on a 3 month contract for a design agency in London near Mayfair. It may become something more permanent in time. The company is called February - check out their work february-london.com.

So ... I'm now one of the mass that flows into the Big Smoke of fair old London each morning. It's been 7 years since I last did this routine and not much is changed, people are rude, people are kind, people think too much of themselves, people think too little. I get to read, which considering I like it so much, I haven't done so for ages so getting through books rapidly is great.

I have noticed that a lot of the men these days who appear to be in good jobs going by the quality of their suits are very tall, maybe it's linked.

I have of late been very annoyed with the trains service. They put their prices up and then don't eveb run a reliable service.

The worst part of it, which is sadly innevolitable is that I miss my kids, I miss seeing them as much as I did. Weekends have become all the more precious.

As for how things have been since dealing with the loss of Becky's Mum, well not great, but we do what we can.
