so if any of you have known me for any real length of time, then you know that, at times, i can be a bit on the clumsy side. if the phrase "i fall down a lot" rings any bells, then congrats! you know me! :) so i was at work this morning at red lobster and my first table arrived. ooh la la.. and they ordered a couple of drinks from the bar which is real good for me because it bumps up my average of add-ons... anyways. in all the excitement of add ons... i suppose i got a little too busy to pay attention to the tray in my hands. you know, the one holding the "shrimpwreck mary" and the "sunset passion colada" .... two steps away from the table, the shrimpwreck mary starts to go.. and then it does. tips right over on the tray facing me, and red goes all over me. "OH GOD" i exclaimed. then the sunset goes too.. all over my white shirt, my apron... the floor. its a complete mess. *the good news* not a drop on the customer. *the bad news* most drops all over my shirt. so the rest of the "crew" members helped clean up the mess on the floor. while i tried to get the red out of my shirt. my boss gave me some soda water and it actually did work pretty well.. at least to get me through the day.so i went back to my table and apologized.. but was still not shaken. i decided to just "work it." maybe my resillience paid off.. because they gave me a $15 tip, praise God.
