I am a Sophmore studying Inter-cultural Studies and Bible, I hope to someday work with refugees to provide immediate relief and assist in relocation and community rebuilding. I love music. I love lyrics. I love listening and being, letting the words and sounds transform me... i love any music that has emotion behind it... and if i had any rhythm whatsoever, i would buy a djembe and play all the time. but instead, i listen. and love.

what i love
getting to know people, discussions, learning about other cultures, touching people, crying with people, realizing that God is so much bigger than me, being read out loud to, coffee shops, learning about myself, discovering truth, rearranging furniture/decorations, watching sports, laughing, painting, making collages, stripes, warm colors, hearing people speak in other languages, looking at houses, walking- especially in the woods, using bowl shaped coffee mugs, wearing old jeans and a sweatshirt and new socks, fabric and craft shopping, writing in a new notebook for the first time, build a bear...
what i find beautiful
tears, laughter, rain, thunderstorms, children walking and running and playing, when elderly people smile and when elderly couples hold hands, music, poetry, trees without leaves (which would make an excellent band name), waterfalls, light coming through tree branches, lilacs, dandelions, old barns that are falling apart, hay bales, street lamps (the old school ones), christmas lights, people walking on the sidewalk, heartside, the fact that it is named heartside, remodeled old houses, waterfalls, twirling, when one flower or tree grows alone, the hills and mountains in romania, the atlantic coast (stateside- never been to western europe), the wrinkles in babies' skin...
