Brendan Greene aka lazy b, has been playing house, electro & techno for the last 10 years. Having started out organising free parties in Dublin & Cork he has now gone onto playing in some of the best venues across the globe.
As a member of the free party scene in Ireland in the mid 90’s, Brendan was involved in the burgeoning start of the house scene in his country. From there he went on to get his first residency at the now legendry ‘52° North’ in Cork city. Playing there for 2 years he also kept up the organising of free events purely for the love of the music and seeing the people dance!
After 52° North shut, he found a home playing the after club parties at Sir Henry’s in Cork. Making a name for himself as a DJ that was not restricted to one style of house, he found himself being called on more and more to guest at other clubs in Cork & Dublin.
In 2003, after Sir Henry’s finally closed, Brendan moved back to Dublin to pursue his career in the capital. Holding two residencies in Wax & The Shelter for the next two years he keep drawing large crowds due to his ‘up&down’ style of house. During this time he also went to play at the WMC in Miami and supported Jon Cutler, Mateo & Matos, Danny Krivit and many others.
Living in Dublin for the last 5 years, Brendan has guested in Dublin & London’s biggest clubs and now holds down two residencies in his home city. His Friday night in 4 Dame Lane has been voted one of Dublin’s top five clubs and the Sunday night he runs as discoheavendiscohell has received critical acclaim as one of Dublin’s best house nights.

Brendan Greene, conhecido como lazy b, tem tocado house, electro e, ocasionalmente,
disco e funk, durante os ultimos dez anos. No inicio de sua carreira organizou festas gratuitas em Dublin e Cork, o que proporcionou-lhe apresentacoes em alguns dos melhores clubes no mundo.
Nos anos 90, como membro da cena de festas gratuitas na Irlanda, ele participou do dificil desenvolvimento do house em seu pais. A partir dai tornou-se residente do lendario ‘52° North', em Cork, onde tocou por 2 anos. Neste periodo continuou a organizar eventos gratuitos, simplesmente pelo amor a musica e ver as pessoas dancar!
‘52° North’ fechou e ele encontrou seu lugar na 'after parties', 'Sir Henry's', em Cork. La fez seu nome como DJ, pois nunca esteve restrito a um unico estilo de house, a partir dai comecou a ser chamado mais e mais como convidado em outras casas noturnas em Cork e Dublin.
Em 2003, depois do fechamento do 'Sir Henry's', ele voltou para Dublin e continuou sua carreira na capital. Foi residente na 'Wax' e na 'The Shelter' durante os dois anos seguintes, onde continuou a trazer grandes publicos, com seu estilo de house 'up & down'. Tocou na WMC (Winter Music Conference) em Miami, abriu para Jon Cutler, Mateo & Matos, Danny Krivit e muitos outros.
Em seus ultimos cinco anos em Dublin, foi convidado a tocar nas maiores casas noturnas da cidade e de Londres. Em Dublin e residente em duas casas noturnas, sua sexta-feira na
'4 Dame Lane' foi votada como melhor casa noturna de 2008 e o seu domingo a noite, promove discoheavendiscohell (veja em baixo) e tem recebido excelentes criticas como uma das melhores noites de house de Dublin.
Agora em tour pelo Brasil, ele traz um excitante e unico estilo de performance, toca percursao ao vivo, bateria digital e usa diversos tipos de samples e scratches. Ele apresenta um show cheio de energia, nunca planejado, o que sempre garante a plateia envolvida.
