That was what someone yelled at us during the Less is More stop last night at the Venetian Theatre in downtown Albany, Oregon. We appreciated the compliment, despite the awkwardness of having it yelled at us in the library-esque quiet of an old theater. I'm glad that guy was there, and though it had to be done (on account of his drunkenness), I'm still a little sad that they had to ask him to leave. I hope that he got something out of the tour, even if he only got to see it for a bit.

All profanity aside, tonight felt much better than last night in Seattle. More together - artistically and thematically. On the four hour drive down from Seattle to Albany, we had some good conversation about the church, our culture, and what our roles and responses look like in our everyday surroundings and communities. I recorded some of that conversation, and with some good drive time ahead of us today, I hope to be able to put that audio together and post an .mp3 for those interested. And while we do believe heartily in the words we say, we also understand that we are ultimately just trying to find answers to questions, to see the truth in things. It's just conversation, not gospel, and we'd love to hear your thoughts, too. That's what this tour is about - asking questions and as we like to say in the South sometimes, "conversating."

The Venetian was great - kind people, good vibe, and a great audience. Thanks for coming out - it was a huge encouragement to us.
