My name is Blake.
and I live in Australia.
I am fascinated by the capabilities of sound and song.
SEPTEMBER 2009:
lessons in time; an album
in the early parts of next year, lessons in time will have an album released.
the wonderful people at the leicester, england-based label, forthesakeofthesong, have kindly invited me onboard and are planning to release the album in april of 2010.
we will be producing and distributing (free free free on the internet) a small preview/ep by the end of this year.
the album will be available throughout europe, and into america as well, i think. and also, myself and sydney's 4-4-2 will be working it in australia, as best as we can.
i have been working very hard in the past months, trying as best as i can to complete an album that complements a snap of my life at present.
it is a hard thing to put myself up to but i am learning lots and getting excited to see/hear it all finished.
feel free to pose any questions that you may have on details and dates and distribution and dis and dat.

Hi Blake. Thanks for contacting us. We like your music very much. Well crafted ambient sounds in there, nice whole musical pieces. Good on the ear. You might like to hear our friend Andrew Barker/ The Lake Vernon Drowning at myspace. Can't remember the exact address, and no myspacey - workie thing. Anyhow, thanks, and welcome. EPs and LPs in 2008, oh my.
