Le Verdi Lune was founded in 2005 by the singer and guitarist Livio Lombardo and the drums player Angelo Calcagno. The guitarist Carmelo Anzalone, who previously sang in the broken up Nebulosa (a Ska-rock band), immediately joins the band. Their first album, "Fine della linea", is released in February 2006.
