I'm a mother to a boy adopted from Ethiopia. I love him so much and he feels so much mine - I can even see my self in him(!) But still it's different to become a mother to a 2,5 yr old than to give birth and because of that the agency/state are looking for the little extra from adoptive parents. Most of the time.
