Saturday night my choir are hosting a farewell party for me - I've decided I want a break with an unknown outcome ahead. How peculiar. Peculiar because after 5 years of being devoted to these people, the process and a vision - I'm not quite sure I know what to do with myself.

Choir life is an interesting phenomena, I'd be curious to know what and how others experience it all.

For now I feel overwhelmed and in the middle of the process of finishing up my work with the choir. Its hard to know what to articulate let alone attempt to sum up 5 years of growing with a wonderful group of hearty singers.

It has been life giving and very good.
