I am David J Colbran, a Liverpool photographer, specialising in PR, public relations, news and event photography. Also I have worked on longer commissions, from architectural based locations and interiors to editorial work for magazines and other publications. Recent clients have included Getty Images, Liverpool John Moores University, Writing on the Wall festival, The Open University, Cadburys, Virgin / Siemens Mobile, Isle of Man Post Office, Childline, Times Educational Supplement, Glastonbury Festival, Institue of Civil Engineers, Revolution Vodka Bars, and Granada News to name just a few.
I am represented by the ArenaPAL photo agency www.arenapal.com , who promote and market my live music photography. I have covered festivals like Glastonbury, Africa Oye, Liverpool Music Week, The Mathew Street Festival, Big Chill Festival, Creamfields, and Womad.
My business DJC Design also provides accessible website design and development services.
Finally I have a Liverpool wedding photography business and undertake a number of events a year to help me finance other projects.

Tracey Emin Anglican Cathedral: Work at Liverpool Cathedral by the artist Tracey Emin has won an award for art in a religious place, below is a photograph from the unveiling during the 2008 European Capital of Culture year. The pink neon "For You" work above the Anglican Cathedral's great west doors is written in Emin's handwriting, with the words "I felt you and I knew you loved me".
