this was also an entry for the Sony Student Awards. This is my favorite one of the bunch I took. The shoe looks so abandoned like most children here in our poor and rural communities. Aids is a terrible disease.

this is near my home across from a steel mine. The flowers look so innocent against the mine. They manage to grow on the white sand of the mines, I do not know what it is called. mmmm...innocent yet enduring.

An interior of an old Afrikaner farm house. Almost like the shaker style. Very simplistic. Nice atmosphere. Tanks to the owners of the farm to let me take photos of this historic museum. I have made an advertising campaign of these photos see my design album.

This is a close-up of a Cole river near the mining town of Witbank in South Africa. One of my favourite photos..but sad to see the destruction of mass mining.
