About
We are an Indie-Rock Band from Cologne, Germany. We've been around for a while and could tell you all kinds of crazy stories but what matters is this: After a bunch of Singles, EPs and one Album we've just released our second full-length. It's called Saurus and we're pretty proud of it.
We spent about two years locked up in our practice pad and various studios trying to get things just right. Recording things, deleting things, rewriting things, rerecordings things and ever so on. Probably we would have kept working forever had it not been for an email from the USA, inviting us to play at the New England Popfest. Never a band to refuse interesting invitations we agreed, booked some flights and started thinking about what else we could do in the States (apart from shopping, that is). So we started looking for someone to mix our record and found Mr. Peter Katis, known for his work with Interpol, The National and many other bands. MP3s were sent, phone calls were made, great conversations were had and (finally) studio time was booked.
Now that we had a deadline we went into a working frenzy, finishing stuff that had been laying around for too long and (naturally) writing and recording some new material. Everything worked out in time. And once we heard the first mix at Katis' Tarquin Studio - and in our rented car, cruising on the highway - we knew we had made the exact record we had been dreaming of since we started out as a band. (Or, at least, one of the many records we've always dreamt of making - we're nowhere close to being finished yet.)
Saurus was released to rave reviews on February the 9th, 2007 in Germany.
Reduced to a three piece consisting of Stefanie, Björn and Niklas wie started working on new material in August 2008. There will be a tour at the end of the year and lots of exciting activity to go along with it.
