Interesting you ask...
I hail from the thriving metropolis of Northern Oklahoma known to most as Ponca City. After graduating from Southern Nazarene's school of Theology I became a youth pastor/Professors assistant and a graduate student in the Master's school of theology at SNU. I youth pastor the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade, and decide the future of college students everywhere.
I am married to Katie, a theology turned accountant still in school at SNU. She is my best friend and fountain of youthful energy. I also have a two dogs: mutts, Piper (A Brittany mix) and Louie (a Beagle/Dachshund), and two chinchillas named Loki and Puck.
I believe in Community, in loving your neighbor in real, tangible, and simple ways, and in peace, especially through the grace of God.

Yeah, "Resident Aliens" is an awesome book.. Reading through "Peaceable Kingdom" now. Very, very cool.
In regards to your earlier question (the one you posed a thousand years ago, but I was either too busy or lazy to answer) about what was the most impacting thought of this year, I must say that it's related to Hauerwas. Through him I've been introduced to an ecclesiology that just resonates with my innermost being. It's like it's been there all the time, I just didn't know it. I was also very impressed by Jean-Luc Marion's post-metaphysical theology. Initially, at least. Haven't looked at closely or anything. I also abandoned apologetics this year, which was the by-product of learning things about (post)modernism and epistemology. Stuff...

Hey man, i finish at UCO in 2 years to get my gen eds out of the way and then the quest to find a good bible college will hopefully be done. I wanna find teachers who know god with their hearts and not with thier head if you know what i mean. I started going to seminary and will be credentialed by the end of the year. and ill probably float around wherever the lord leads me or a part time ministry if he wants me there to. Lifes been a blast, graduation and all of these things are coming down and its something ill never forget. How are things going with you? are you busy next week? love to go to starbucks and have a chat sometime.

Hey, you say your theology is open. Do you mean open to new ideas or are you referring to open theism? The latter would interesting..
